Hi, i´m mai!

I´m a portrait photographer going back and forth between Norway and Japan (currently based in Oslo).

I fell in love with photography because it allows me to capture and preserve a memory - both for myself and for others.

I love capturing the authentic, in-between moments that unfolds naturally -

a reflection of the unique person that's in front of me.

I draw inspiration from nature, different architecture and light/shadows.

My style is simple and natural - I love creating a warm, nostalgic feeling in my photos, something that feels timeless.
